I tend to prefer supervising projects that I propose, and projects that tend to have an academic, empirical angle in them (that does not mean that practical projects don't fall under this category). Having said that, i would ofcourse be interested to consider supervising ideas that you have but first make sure you check my research interests as you need to make sure your topic fits with my research interests.

I allocate projects on a first come first serve basis. I usually supervise around 10 BSc and MSc projects per year.
